Ah blog. Still here, still pink.

Nothing further to report on last weekend's excitement, so it looks like we're safe in our beds for the time being. Inasmuch as anyone ever is. Work and MA chugging on, all very DIFFICULT. Sigh. Still, if I have time to blog then it can't be that bad can it?

Not a good weekend. Matt went out to a cashpoint at about 6pm on Saturday and after stopping off at Videobox on the way back, he ran the last hundred yards, in a hurry to get home and feeling spooked by the usual dodgy crowd outside Budgens. Someone seemed to start chasing him. Shortly after he returned a man appeared at the top of the basement steps and began shouting 'I know where you live motherfucker, I'm going to kill you, you'll have to come out sometime and I'll be waiting' and similar. We had no idea what Matt had done to offend him, but were terrified anyway and phoned the police. Nothing they could do, of course. The man had gone by then (apparently he wasn't going to wait until we were forced to leave the house after all) and we couldn't give a description. So, seemingly just a random nutter - if you're serious about a threat you don't make it at the top of your voice at 6.30 on a busy Saturday night - but we decided to spend the night at my parents' anyway. Nothing happened when we left the house, and everything was fine when we returned on Sunday. Nobody broke in and murdered us in our beds last night either. But I still haven't really slept for 48 hours. May not last the day at work...
