"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library."

Happy today. Matt has an interview for a job on campus, which gives me pleasant visions of actually seeing each other before 9pm occasionally... And moving plans going smoothly so far. I just hope this good weather lasts a little, so we can make use of our long-awaited patio. Much daydreaming about murals, shelf-building, paint charts and barbecues... before being yanked back to the Kilimanjaro of photocopying and printing that is looming over me at work. Another rainforest bites the dust...

Speaking of big wodges of paper, I'm beginning to think that someone is sneakily sticking extra pages in the back of my Tom Wolfe book. I have NEVER spent so long reading a novel before; it's starting to get me down. I could just give up, but how can I admit defeat now after all the precious hours I've expended on the bloody thing? After this I'm going to reward myself with nothing but slim volumes of poetry for a month.
