I might have known... I NEVER get to be anything extreme or interesting on these quizzes:

Switzerland
Switzerland -
A neutral power for as long as most can remember,
it has avoided war for several centuries.
However, it is still considered highly advanced
and a global power.

Positives:

Judicial.

Neutrality.

World-Renouned.

Powerful without Force.

Makes Excellent Watches, Etc.

Negatives:

Target of Ridicule.

Constant Struggle to Avoid Conflict.

Target of Criminal Bank Accounts.

I've changed my mind. JON TO WIN!

I had the morning off today, and see no reason to break the run of idleness now I'm actually at work. So, I'm going to lean back in my chair and breathe in the faint smell of sun lotion and cut grass, then perhaps eat a bagel.

Bank holiday - one big excuse to make Brighton uninhabitable. I had to wait nearly three hours for my lunch yesterday, while media twats cavorted round me with their Pimms - although apart from that the beer garden (and the beer) was rather nice so it wasn't TOO painful an experience. Until my dad and my sister started trotting out the embarrassing childhood stories...

Other highlights of the weekend: pub quiz on Sunday featuring the excitingly tactile 'name that pasta shape' round. We came third in the end, thanks in no small part to Matt's hitherto unsuspected knowledge of Billy Ray Cyrus lyrics and Rupert Bear. There was also EUROVISION of course - I only caught a few minutes of it, including Tatu - perhaps they would have done better had they had some dancing lessons and departed from the 'clutching hands, running up and down the stage like caged elephants' move? As for Jemini - why pretend it's about politics when it's clearly about being utterly crap and not even being able to SPELL? Oh and BIG BROTHER. About which I have nothing much to say yet except CAMERON TO WIN!
