"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library."

I thought I'd review the various types of chocolate I've been sampling this Easter season, in a vain attempt to convince myself that there was actually some discrimination involved in the process, not just a big mouth-shaped Hoover.

Firstly, there was the Cadbury 'Chocolate Lover's Egg' which came with four chocolate bars. Verdict: egg was of a good size and thickness, and the additional chocolate choices (Twirl, Wispa, Flake, Dairy Milk) could not be faulted - EXCEPT that the Dairy Milk was cunningly hidden so you only found out when you opened it that it was - dread word - 'snacksize'. Pah.

Secondly, there was the egg we had to get when the first one was polished off before Easter Sunday - the Cadbury Buttons. Verdict: Small but perfectly formed, and the Buttons were, quite properly, INSIDE the egg!

Then there was the gift from grandma, Belgian seashell-style praline bunnies and eggs. Verdict: cheeky and delicious, with a two-layer bonus. But felt utterly sick when we'd eaten them all (ie 20 minutes after opening box.)

And finally, the back to work gift, Cadbury Chocolate Coffee Bites. Verdict: SOOO much better in theory than in practice. There's a REASON why they grind coffee beans and make them into a drink. Now reduced to sucking the chocolate off.

Back at work. I have forgotten how to type. And how to deal with people who aren't Matt. The phone seems terrifying, my stationery cupboard a mystery rather than a sanctuary, my files incomprehensible. Help!

Perhaps I shall concentrate on the future instead and read my new book, Libraries and Learning Resource Centres, which has some pretty pictures of Peckham Library in it and should INSPIRE me in my chosen career.
