By popular demand:
a picture of my future husband. (He would only agree to this if it was a photo where he's wearing sunglasses. But it's better than me having to paste pix of Ipswich footballers...)

I'm sitting at my desk stuffing envelopes and listening to the new
Go-Betweens album, and looking forward to the arrival of my new desk tidy. We may be supposed to be cutting costs, but can an efficient administrator really be expected to keep her pens in a floral mug? I think not.

I posted my MA application this morning. It's funny how events run away with you; how one minute I can be idly reading something on the internet and filling in a few forms, and the next (well October, hopefully) I'm a student again. God, there'll be ESSAYS and everything.

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that I've started another blog. It's strictly dull and provincial, but to the few local readers out there - maybe you want to keep me up to date with any unmissable events, or join the blogteam and dissect your cultural activities online?

Well, by fair means or foul (nothing to do with me either way) this blog has appeared on the Brighton Virtual Festival's
list. I have looked through the others and frankly mine is the best. (Well, perhaps not but at least I'm not just trying to sell my album or my programming skills.) At least I got past their restrictions on pornographic content and bad language somehow - woo.
