As the last stragglers return and Report Back from Glastonbury, I can't resist savouring a vicarious Belle and Sebastian experience:

Seldom has Stuart looked more Ginger, or Stevie more GeekChic. Lovely.

My archives aren't working properly at the moment - apologies, and a plea to techies who can help me fix them!

NOTHING to report today. I almost miss the bloody students. I did manage to set a new personal speed record for the
Guardian quick crossword though, about 4 minutes. Which left another 476 minutes of the day to fill. Sigh.

I think I should accept that my poetry site is now about as aesthetically pleasing as it's going to get (if you discount the photo of some grinning idiot). So sometime soon I will actually have to Write Something New. And how scary is THAT?

I will be brief today, as I seem to be something of a technical liability at the moment. (Close observers of this blog and #sinister will know what I mean.) I wonder if the fact that I am wearing what I can only describe as a Disgracefully Hippy shepherdess blouse affair has anything to do with it - all wrong for a modern, scientifically-minded, web-savvy chick like me (ahem). But it makes me absurdly happy to have floaty ruched sleeves and floral dangly bits for a change so < blows big fat raspberry >.
